Pickaway Progress Parkis one of only a dozen projects state wide to be awarded funding in the latest round of Jobs Ready Site grants through the Ohio Department of Development. Situated at the southern edge of the City of Circleville, the 225 acre development will breathe new life into the manufacturing site vacated by RCA by reclaiming it as useful industrial space and by replacing a large portion of the over 1000 jobs lost in a region including Circleville, Lancaster and Chillicothe due to the plant closure.
Harral and Stevenson have been on board since the 2008 inception of the project. To date we have worked with the owner and regional authorities in several capacities. This role has allowed us to work as part of the team that completed the successful grant application, in which our responsibilities included development of the comprehensive site plan, schematic infrastructure design and construction cost analysis.
Presently, we are gearing up to begin final planning, detailed design of an extensive roadway, sewer and water network and platting for dedication of right-of-way and subdividing.
