Civil Engineering Internships

Are you a civil engineering student ready to turn coursework into real projects that improve your community? Join our summer internship program and gain hands-on experience on local transportation, utilities, and municipal projects across Circleville, Lancaster, and Springfield.
What you’ll do
- Support design and drafting (CAD) and prepare construction documents
- Assist with stormwater, grading, site plans, and permitting tasks
- Participate in site visits, construction observation, and client meetings
- Produce technical calculations, reports, and as-built documentation
- Present work to project teams and receive one-on-one mentorship

Who we’re looking for
- Enrolled in an accredited civil engineering program (undergrad or grad)
- Familiar with CAD or civil design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar) — coursework or hands-on experience a plus
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Willing to travel locally for site visits

- Duration: 10–12 weeks (summer) with flexible schedules for co-ops
- Locations: Project sites and offices in Circleville, Lancaster, Springfield
